If a lead wants to hang up immediately or asks to be taken off the list, instead of immediately ending the conversation, what you can actually do is say:
Hey, just one question before we hang up. Can I just confirm your email address? And one last question, what has to happen for you to make a move in the future? Do you have any future plans at all?
Sometimes this can be an icebreaker for you to start a conversation.
