♦ If your leads put a wrong name (i.e. Mickey Mouse) or if their names are difficult to pronounce, give them a call still and just introduce yourself. You do not have to pronounce their names.
♦ At the end of the conversation, you can even make a joke and say something like:
You registered as Mickey Mouse and I don’t want to keep calling you Mickey Mouse, so, what is your first name?
♦ Remember, there are no excuses: if you have a phone number, you have to call every single lead just to figure out what stage of the buying or selling process they are at. This is the most important reason to follow up!
